ZOMBIES ARE ATTACKING!

Eeeeeek! Run! Zombies!

Ok, now that I'm done with that. Hello everyone. How are you all today?
I have many things that are mucho excitamundo to talk about.

Topic 1: Georgia! Ok, so Stop in the Name of Pants, the newest Georgia book, comes out in...crap...hahaha, came out the 1st. Ach! I must call Sophie, and we must have a Georgia-type get-together. Because Georgia is our guiding light in all things girl. We refer to her delightful novels as the "girl bible". Totally heresy, but whatever. Who will she take out of the cake shop of love: Massimo the Italian Stallion, or Dave the L, her hornmeister and all-around go-to guy? We shall see, shant we? And also, assuming it does indeed come out in the U.S, the movie version of ATFFS comes out July 25! Woot!

Topic 2: Breaking Dawn!!!! So, the last book in the epic tale of Bella and Edward and company comes out August first. I already reserved my copy. We, being Caroline, Sophie, Pratima, and I, want to have a party and read all of them together. Yes yes.

Topic 3: Zombies. Yes, zombies. You read correctly. Now, before you go lock me up, I must explain. Patrick wanted me to write a story for some zine he's making. I don't ask questions, I just follow orders. (Thinking about it, blindly doing anything he asks might not be in my best interest...) So now I'm writing a zombie story! It's really cool. I based it off this dream that Kiki had, and I'm really excited about it. The end is sort of dying on me, but I think it'll work out well. I'll send the first, un-edited version to Packy when he gets back Monday from OB, and we'll see what he thinks.

Topic 4: Last, but certainly not least...Michael. Yep, him again. So, he's finally back from his never-ending camping trip. And he was at the Outlaws game/fireworks last night. So, after months of not seeing him, I finally got to. It was really exciting. That kid makes me laugh. I like him a lot.

So yeah, that's about it. Unless you want me to talk about work. I can do that. My official rescue tally is up to 3 now. 2 in the slide catch, and one at the drop slide. Why parents insist on sending children who can't swim down slides is beyond me. But they do, and that's why we work. It's interesting, that's for sure. Hahaha, Mclovin (AKA Stephan) and I have this thing going, where we sub each other a lot, and have a count down of shifts left. And if we end up closing at Lagoon 1 and 2, he tries to get us to switch. He's a funny kid. We give each other such crap. And apparently Michael knows Pat and Kevin. Kevin is pretty much my favorite head guard ever. Cept for maybe Sarah. Or Josh. But those are my top 3, no questions asked. Although Mike is awesome.

Hmmmm, P.S. I saw Sweeny Todd. Amazing. 'Nuff said.

I Love Life... XD

Life is wonderful. Wanna know why? Good, cuz I'm going to tell you. So sit down, children, and I will tell you a story.
So, essentially, last night, we had the Olssons over and made s'mores over the fire pit, which was pretty much amazing. I love fire. 'Cept then Andy and Billy put leaves in the fire, which made it smell funny. But it was still pretty darn amazing. We talked about work, and weird people, and old music. I love nights like that, just sitting outside with people and talking. It's great.

This morning life wasn't so hot, because we had a swim meet, but the idiots who ran it took for-ev-er. It was painful. It was 2:30, and they were on the IM, so they just cut final relays. So all I swam today was the 50, the 100 free, and the IM. Joy, eh? But, at long long last, we got to go home. And that's when the real fun started.
Basically, I finally got the chance to go play 40K and Dark Heresy. Despite ridiculous parental concern (honestly, what's going to happen in a basement with like, 2 of Patrick's gamer friends? the answer, nothing.), I managed to con my way into a ride up to Patrick's house. So I got there, and honestly, Packy's family is so sweet. Especially his mom. So I traipse down to the basement, and there's Packy, Nick, Nik, Nik's little bro (Nik 2.0, as Nick calls him), and Erik. And they were all playing Warhammer 40K, which is really complicated if you don't know what's going on. But they kinda explained it to me, so it was all good. I got to command a Baneblade tank, but my dice-rolling sucks, and I killed about 1 person. It was pretty sad. But then Erik had to go, which sorta killed the game, seeing as he owned like, half the models. So we cleaned up, which took about 400 years. But we succeeded, and then we played Dark Heresy. That was fun, and I knew what to do. Plus, I was the least pathetic shot, since I killed this one guy with my shotgun, while Nik missed entirely, and Nick took aim. But then Nik missed killing this other guy and like, stabbed himself, and then Nick stabbed him, and then I hit Nick with my club (mind you, all these injuries were inadvertent), but eventually we killed him. But then we encountered a deamon, and I freaked out, and again, the rest of the lot failed in the whole attacking bit. So Packy made it disappear, but then his brain died, so he couldn't think of what should happen next. So we went and ate pizza. And then went back to the basement and played some random video games until my father came to pick me up, which was the tragedy of the century.

But yeah. I finally got to meet Nik, who I talk to all the time, and I got to see Nick, who I haven't seen in ages, and I got to see Patrick again. So it was pretty much a grand old time. I was in one of those moods where everything is funny, and no matter how hard you try, you can't stop laughing. So that was fun. Oh, and over dinner, we had this great conversation about what if life was really all a dream, and you woke up and forgot everything, and then went on to live a completely different life. Like you were an alien or something. And then one about how what if it was actually post apocolypse, and we had just created the working world in our minds. It was crazy. I love those boys.

Ok, nighty night!

ADD Much?

Hahahaha, I'm layout ADD. I wish I could find cooler backgrounds for my blog. The ones they have make me sad. Well, not sad, per say, they just aren't a whole lot of fun. Quel domage!
Yeah, so right now, I'm taking a break from cleaning. I tried to tackle my desk. Without a plan of action. BAD idea. So, in the course of an hour to an hour and a half (not actually sure how long it was), I managed to pull everything off and out of it, wipe it down, sort through some of the crap, and put some stuff back in the main drawer and two or three compartments. However, because there's still massive amounts of crap on my floor, my room looks even worse. Again, I ask, Why does it have to get worse before it gets better?
Yep. I took the day off from swimming today, but I only slept til like, 7. I have 2 days a week where I don't get up at the crack of dawn, and I STILL get no sleep. Waaaaah.
Ok, well, I'm thinking I'm gonna go take a shower, then walk over to Old Navy and such to look for a present for Allie. And then I'm going to nap and clean a little. Or come back and talk to Patrick again. We have such stupid conversations. I love it.

Bye all!

Running on Iced Chai

Hello world! Today is a good day thus far, although I have only been awake for 3 hours. Yes, I did get up at 5:40. Nice math work, geniuses. I went to swim practice. What a party. Trish decided that today was going to be IM work. Yippee! So first we did a bunch of 25s IM order. That wasn't too bad, especially since they were on the 45 seconds. Easy peasy. But then it got gross. She decided we were going to do a ladder of 200 IMs. So we start with a 25 fly, then 50 fly, then 50 fly 25 back, then 50 fly 50 back...and so on and so forth. And after we got to a whole 200 IM, we decrease, so it goes 50 fly 50 back 50 breast 50 free, 25 fly 50 back 50 breast 50 free... etc. At least she let us do fly drill when we were dying. God, it hurts my shoulders to even brush my teeth now. I'm in such miserable swimming shape. Saturday is going to be fun.
So I got back, and Billy still has school (sucker!) so I had the house to myself. So I decided to take a trip to Starbucks for fuel. So I got a lowfat blueberry muffin *yummy* and and iced chai. And now I'm home, and I made myself another chai. And I'm going to drink more when I finish this one because I boiled waaaaayyyyy too much water. But that's ok. Chai is tasty! Hmmmm, I needed to steep that longer. It's not very flavorful. Oh well, it's still delicious.
I have to work rental again tonight. Maybe Alex is working. He always keeps it funny. He was singing Abba and Sound of Music last time. That was a party. He's a funny kid.
So, assuming I don't have to switch with Rachel, I get to go to the 7th grade end of the year party tomorrow. Yay! Playing with Billy's friends is always fun. Yippee skippee. Actually I'm really excited to see CJ. Did I ever mention the terrifying dream I had about him dying? It was awful. And then I had another dream about him. Is that really weird and creepy to have dreams about your little brother's friends? But CJ and I are pals. So are Greyson and I, and Julian and I. Hahah, and Phillip. I love Philly! He's my favorite. Wow, I sound like such a pedophile. But I mean, it's only a 2 year difference. And they're cool. So whatever. It's not really any different than Sienna hanging out with Senior boys. So it's all good. Right? Back me up here, people!
So Adrianne is on my case to watch Code Geass now. I tried, but the site she wanted me to use was down. So I'll try again later.
Ug, I have to start cleaning my room today. Yich. I should probably start in my closet. It would be so much easier if half mom's belongings weren't in my bloody closet. I would have all those shelves and whatnot to use for my crap. I should suggest that... She doesn't even wear anything in there. It's not fair to use my room to store her crap and then yell at me when my room is messy. Mostly it's just clothes on the floor anyway. And my desk is a  nightmare. But whatever. It's all good, right? That's what I thought.

Ok, well, that's good for now. I'm gonna finish my chai, make another one, and start on my room. And then come back to talk to my loser friends online and watch Code Geass (hopefully!).

Zzzzzz... *snore*

*Jolts awake* I'm awake, I promise! Really truly I am! Isn't summer supposed to be for sleeping in and chilling out? Yeah, that's what I thought. Now tell that to the rest of the people involved in my life. So, swim practice. Yeah, it's a party. Every morning at 6. I was so NOT awake this morning. It was crazy. Probably because I had to work until 9 last night, and it took forever to get to bed after that, so I got pretty much no sleep last night. Eeeeew, and I have to work the 8-hour shift today. Not that work is that bad, but 8 hours is a long time to sit there and stare at the water. So yeah, thus is my life this summer. It's going to be a party. All my friends are threatening to come to the pool to pretend to drown. Grrrrr.
So guess who I saw again on Friday. That's right. Patrick! A bunch of us from school all went to see the new Indiana Jones movie on Friday after the last final, and I  coerced Packy into coming with us. So he did. I adore that child!
So, speaking of the movie...as an Indiana Jones, it wasn't great. I mean, it was an entertaining movie, but it just wasn't Indy. For the sake of you who may not have seen the movie, I won't spoil it. But honestly, the ending in this one made Temple of Doom look believable. Ridiculous or what? And, honestly, Harrison Ford looked old. But they played that well. Still, he was too old for the amount of time they claimed passed between movies. And I'm not a big fan of Shia LeBoeuf. He's not really attractive. At all. But he did make a good greaser, I'll give him that.

Ok, so the other day, we bought a fire pit. You know, the ones that are just big bowl-shaped things on legs that you light a fire in? Yeah, so we lit a fire in it Saturday night. I don't know what it was, but sitting there watching the fire made me feel so alone. Mom and dad were right there, and they were talking, and we had music and stuff, but I was just so lonely. And I really missed Michael. I don't even know why. But I did. It was awful. I was so close to calling him and leaving him some sort of angsty message, but I didn't. It was the weirdest thing, being that lonely, especially with everyone there. But it also really made me want to go camping. I love camping!

Ok, well, I'm gonna go ... do something. I just don't know what. Probably get ready for work.

Oh, P.S. Julia is in freaking New York, and she went to see RENT! I am so beyond jealous that it's not even funny. Grrrrrrrx.

SQUEEEEEEEEEE

Guess what?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?
I saw Patrick today!!!!!!
That made me so happy. You have no idea. I adore that boy. I really do. And....his hair was still blue!!!!! He's the cutest kid too. I get to see him again on Monday. And maybe tomorrow. How do I go so long without seeing him?

Ok, well, as promised, I'm going to post lots of Fruba (fruits basket) pictures!
Here we go!

Yuki! He's the rat, and he's adorable!

That there is Kyo. He's the cat, and he's even more adorable. But very, very angsty.

This here is Hatori. He's the dragon, and he's also a doctor. And probably the only Sohma guy with any sense. I love him.

This here is Shigure, the dog. He's my second favorite (Hatori is third), and he's SUCH a perv. But so very very adorable.

This is Hatsuharu, or Haru. He's my favorite. He's the ox, and he's got a split personality. He's normally super sweet, but occasionally he turns into "Black Haru" and then and then he's a total badass.

I'd add more pictures, but I really have to get back to studying. Bye everyone!
Haru..... <3

Yeppers...

I feel kinda silly posting while Julia is reading this, but what the heck. She'll just get to read this post later. Speaking of... I forget if I talked about Pops. So I shall talk about it. Again, possibly. But basically it was amazing! Rives, Goody, Paige and I all went to Julia's Pops Concert over the weekend. It was fantastic! She and the rest of the orchestra did "1812 Overture," and she had to dress up as a peasant. That was funny. And so did Jeff, her BF. That made me laugh. OOOOHHHH, they used confetti cannons, too. Confetti cannons! That amuses me to no end! And then Tay and the band did a P.D.Q. Bach piece called "Grand Symphony  for an Awful Lot of Winds and Percussion" or something. It was so entertaining. And he, of course, wore the fuchsia tux shirt. That made me happy to no end. Their choirs were fun. Their boys group was so fun, and their select group's a capella pieces were FANTASTIC! It was all just amazing in general...

So, today was my official last day of classes as a freshman. Woot! I'm so excited. Today was supposed to be a review day, but Putka (geometry) wasn't there, and we didn't really have anything to do, so we watched music videos on Ben's iPhone. And Nick's. Which was a party. But then Ben and Spencer and Matt had to go and be asses in LST. Poor Mr. Burnham. He tries to be nice to them, and they're such jerks to him. And Ben's such a sweet kid, but he turns into a moron with those boys in that class. So he got kicked out of class. Granted, Mr. Burnham did kind of single him out, and he was kind of the scapegoat for the three of the boys together. But still. Mr. Burnham put up with them all year, and they couldn't just hold it together for 40 minutes. Why are boys such bastards?

Fruits Basket...I'm in love. Momiji is soooooo cute! And Yuki and Kyo are adorable. But my favorite is totally Hatsuharu. And tied for second are Shigure (only because he's older, and Haru's cuter... but I adore Gure.) and Hatori. Hiro's a jerk sometimes. I think next post, I'll just use it all posting pictures. YAY!
