Ooooh. Pretty!

Tee hee hee! I really like said new format. It makes me really happy. I was going to make it that cool black one like Adrianne has, but that's too hard to read. So this cool green-type one it is. Basically I've decided that today I am going to tell you about all of my new friends. I apologize to any of you who I may inadvertantly forget. Because I have short-term memory loss.
"It runs in my family. At least, I think it does. Where are they?"
Haha, sorry. Dory moment there.

Ok, here goes nothing!

Adrianne: This girl is pretty much my hero! She reads Manga, she makes pretty cakes, and she's entirely insane. Sort of like me! Anyway. She's my advisory pally. Well, one of them. And also my choir friend. It's fantastic.

Emily (1): Haha, my twin! Emily is amazing. Again, an advisory and choir pal. Also my Western Civ partner. Well, one. She's amazing, and she uses cool words. Like "chuckle" and "pop a squat". She makes me chuckle.

Michelle: Another one in my Western Civ class. She enjoys dying her hair with Kool-aid. Cool, eh? Pretty much amazing. and also in love with her boyfriend Max.

Sophie: Oh, my goodness. This girl is so incredible! Amazing artist, knows theatre and music, pretty much Bohemian. I live my days in envy of her. I want to be Sophie when I grow up.

Sonia: Completely and utterly insane. She named the rotor on our windmill "Bob." She has a pathalogical fear of gummy worms. Also, she's a figure skater.

Pratima: Hahaa, my swimming partner! Pratima is amazing, and also a spazz. I love her!

Tasia: Yet another one of my choir pals. She's amazing; I love her. Yet another one of my insane friends. Gotta love 'em!

Karen: She's not actually in any of my classes, and she's not quite as insane as the rest of us, but still pretty much amazing.

Allie: Um, all I can say is she gives evil side pokey things. I look like I'm going into seizures when she does it. She makes me laugh, when I'm not cringing and flinching from the side pokey thing.

Darin: We have the quintessential love-hate relationship. Every day,he makes sure to tell me that I suck. It's kinda funny, really. But we're friends, deep down.....

Hendrik: Hahaah, Hendrik the viking! Definately up there in the insanity list. And also very funny.

Ok, well, that pretty much sums up all my fantastic friends. Very briefly. But hey, I've only known them for a few months. I don't quite have the 8-year experience with them.

Well, if you think of anything else I need to say, or anyone else to mention, let me know.

You know what's sad? You can't download the demo of World of Warcraft without giving it credit card info. So I can't play it right now. Oh, the sadness! I'm distraught!

So essentially...

I need to stop saying that. It's starting to piss me off. I'll be in the middle of a conversation with a friend, and out that'll slip. "So essentially...," And it makes me want to bash my head against a brick wall. Repeatedly. Which is a problem, seeing as I really can't afford to lose any more. If you know me, you can attest to that. Even if you don't, you probably can. If you've read half the randomosity that I've posted, you'll doubtless agree that the nearest loony bin needs to prepare a bed for me. But yeah.

Last night, I got to hang out at a friend's house while our parents went off and had a bajillion-dollar (ok, maybe only $200) meal. Not that it wasn't fun. It was me, Brendan, Billy, and Julian. Let me tell you, it was a party. Basically, we watched a little football, got bored with that and flipped to hockey, and were just too damn depressed watching the Avs lose to Calgary, and went down into the basement to play baseball. Their basement, (Brendan and Julian's, I mean) is amazing. I like it a lot. So we, meaning Billy and Brendan, with reasonable assistance from Julian, and the occasional play, or lack thereof, by me, whacked a foam baseball around with a little tiny bat for a while. Then we got tired of that, so we ordered pizza and watched this rather stupid but entertaining on the whole, movie. I think it was called Red Line. But don't quote me on that. I'm not totally sure. Anyway, there were a bunch of hot cars, so it was all good. I love stupid teenage boy movies! Once the movie ended, and the three boys had consumed an entire bottle of Mountain Dew (managing to spill it on themselves in the process) we went back to the basement and played Need for Speed, or something along those lines. After Julian got his sad sorry butt kicked, we went upstairs. J and Billy went off and IM-ed their little sevie friends, and Brendan and I watched The Fresh Prince of Bel-air. It was entertaining, let me tell you!
Yeah, so that was my Saturday night. Gosh, Brendan is cute when he smiles. But I need to stop thinking along those lines. Boys are stupid. I have to keep telling myself that. Because they cause nothing but trouble. And anyway, I'm sure Brendan doesn't like me, and I don't really like him. That was 8th grade. That's over. He's just attractive. Really, really attractive. But enough of that!

Hahah, I went to go see Enchanted on Friday. It was really cute. Gotta love Disney making fun of Disney movies! And I got to see some of my dearly beloved (dearly beloved, we are gathered here to saaaaay our goodbyes.... here she liiiiiiiies, no one knew her worth, the late great daughter of Mother Earth, in this night in which we celebrate the biiiiiiirth, in that little town of bethlehem, we raise our glass you bet your ass toooooooooo....la VIE....... Boheme! sorry, RENT break) friends from middle school. They're really fantastic. So yeah.

Hmmm, tomorrow I have swim practice. And also, I have a swim meet on Saturday. That's a little intimidating! Oh well. It'll be fun!

Okey dokey. That's all I have to say for the time being!

Webley, Annoying Little Brothers, And Whatever Else My Poor Troubled Mind Comes Up With.....

And no, I didn't just end that with a preposition. I'm not that gramatically challanged! (Wink wink!)

Anway..... SO last night was the Webley premiere. It was fantastic. I would say that the two years those nutcases spent making their movie was worth it, because the audience (yeah, all what, 20 of us?) just coulnd't shut up during the entire thing. Laughing, yelling, cheering, you name it. It was fantastic. I love those boys. They make me laugh. A lot.

Anyway, I was supposed to go see Beowulf today with Packy, but then Billy had his lovely friend over, and he was being picked up at noon, which was when the movie was. Except it's past noon, and the kid is still here. (I love you Greyson!) So that means I couldn't get to the theatre and see the movie. And then he can't do a later movie, and he can't do anything Friday, and tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and he has to board on Saturday, so I can't see it for a while. But I'll stop boring you with the tragedy of my life. Not that any of you actually care.

Hmmmmm, I don't really know what else to talk about. OOoh, I know! Fall Ball! Essentially, it was the lamest dance ever. The music was bad, the DJ was lousy, and no one danced. So it was pretty much a huge waste of my time. But I got to hang out with my friends, so it's all good. It would have been really akward with a date. I was kinda depressed cuz the guy I like was dancing with another girl, but what ever. That's life.

Hmmm, ok, Greyson wants to read my blog now, so I'll let him.

love to all,

Speech & Debate, Being Hit by Trucks, and Whatever the Heck Else I feel Like

Wow, it has officially been 1 month since I last posted. But that's not all that's important.
First off, today is Veterans' Day. I know no one reads this, but if you are, make sure you remember the amazing people who have sacrificed so much to protect our country.
Second, and slightly less important on the cosmic scale, it's been one year since the Rise Against concert. WOw, that was amazing. I forget if I ever posted about it, so I'll tell what I remember now. At the time, I had a huge crush on Packy, and aparantly James, who was Paige's boyfriend at the time, noticed, because the entire car ride over, he turned everything I said into a sex joke involving Packy and me. It was entertaining, let me tell you. Then, the openers were terrible, so James and Paige went off to make out. Packy and I could see them the whole time, though. It was rather funny. That was the first time I ever heard Billy Talent. I hated them at the time. Now I love them. And then James practically fell asleep in the middle of the concert. It was lame. And finally, at the end, when we were leaving, Packy couldn't walk straight cuz he had been headbanging for so long. Good times, good times.

Ok, new topic. Like speech and debate! It's amazing. I do LD debate. I'm not great, but I did go 2-3 in my first varsity tournament. And the fact that Peter has never broken in LD, and he's a senior gives me confidence. Because I did well for a freshman. Not as well as Paul! He does Original Oratory, and he broke Semis! He went straight 4's in semis, but that's irrelivant. It was still fantastic! I was jealous.

Taylor is officially my giver of love advice. Sad, really. Although, compared to my other friends, he's had more successful relationships. So it's not totally ludicrous, but still. He's managed to convince me that I should ask he-who-shall-not-be-named-in-this-post-lest-my-school-friends-read-this-and-make-my-life-miserable to Fall Ball. But he does have a legit point in that it't totally lame that guys always do the asking. So I'm going to try. And if he says no, it's his loss. That's my view.

Herm, oh! Across the Universe. Only the best movie ever. Jim Sturgess, who plays Jude, is SOOOOOOOOOO hot! And he has an amazing voice. And all the music is so incredible! If you haven't seen it, you absolutely must do it! As in, as soon as humanly possible. Because it is amazing!

Ok, well, I've run out of things to say for now. But I'll try to post more often.

SWIM TEAM STARTS TOMORROW! Can't wait!
