Yay for drivers's ed! I just completed the skills course at MasterDrive, and I have my permit. So look out world, here I come! I can drive now! The classroom days were really boring, and the movies were ridiculous, but what ever. The skills course was a party. Backing up is hard, but other than that, it was a blast. I'm a decent driver, especially seeing as I've only driven for 2 days. I haven't actually driven on an actual road yet, but I'm getting there. First I have to get used to my behemoth minivan and get accustomed to driving in parking lots and cemetaries and the like before I take on the big bad world. Because, you know, I'd really rather not kill myself my first time driving. That wouldn't be much fun.
Hmm, peer pressure is bad. And I give into it. I blame Packy. All because he told me (well, begged, pleaded, and otherwise used cheap tactics to convince me) to buy htis album by In Flames. No one other than he knows who they are. They're a crazy metal band. They're not that bad, but I still only bought it because he told me to. They're Swedish. Not what you'd expect, is it? A metal band made up of Swedes? But what ever. I highly doubt my parents would totally approve of my music choices, but they don't have to listen. And I'm not going to go all psycho because I listen to metal. I mean, look at Packy! He's....actually, he's not normal. But it's not the music that makes him weird.
Excuse me whilst I pound my brother into a pulp. He has this calculator thing, but when you press a certain key, every button makes it play a song. Except it's in that nasty mechanical beep and they're really bad songs! I swear, if I hear "The Mexican Hat Dance" one more time on that thing, my head will explode! It's painful!
Ok, well, I'm dead tired, and I have a lo-o-o-o-ong week ahead of me. I have school Tuesday and Wednesday, and then Wednesday night I'm leaving for Freshman Retreat, so I won't get back until Friday. I have cross country practice on Friday, a meet Saturday (I have to be at school at 6:30!) and then, after the meet Saturday, I probably have to go to this choir retreat, and then, after I get back from that, I have school again Monday. Ug, I have too much to do with my life.
Packy isn't accepting his music, so I'm going to bed. And never waking up. Ever ever ever. Because I'm toooooooooo TIRED!
Guten nacht!
