SQUEEEEEEEEEE

Guess what?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?
I saw Patrick today!!!!!!
That made me so happy. You have no idea. I adore that boy. I really do. And....his hair was still blue!!!!! He's the cutest kid too. I get to see him again on Monday. And maybe tomorrow. How do I go so long without seeing him?

Ok, well, as promised, I'm going to post lots of Fruba (fruits basket) pictures!
Here we go!

Yuki! He's the rat, and he's adorable!

That there is Kyo. He's the cat, and he's even more adorable. But very, very angsty.

This here is Hatori. He's the dragon, and he's also a doctor. And probably the only Sohma guy with any sense. I love him.

This here is Shigure, the dog. He's my second favorite (Hatori is third), and he's SUCH a perv. But so very very adorable.

This is Hatsuharu, or Haru. He's my favorite. He's the ox, and he's got a split personality. He's normally super sweet, but occasionally he turns into "Black Haru" and then and then he's a total badass.

I'd add more pictures, but I really have to get back to studying. Bye everyone!

Yeppers...

I feel kinda silly posting while Julia is reading this, but what the heck. She'll just get to read this post later. Speaking of... I forget if I talked about Pops. So I shall talk about it. Again, possibly. But basically it was amazing! Rives, Goody, Paige and I all went to Julia's Pops Concert over the weekend. It was fantastic! She and the rest of the orchestra did "1812 Overture," and she had to dress up as a peasant. That was funny. And so did Jeff, her BF. That made me laugh. OOOOHHHH, they used confetti cannons, too. Confetti cannons! That amuses me to no end! And then Tay and the band did a P.D.Q. Bach piece called "Grand Symphony  for an Awful Lot of Winds and Percussion" or something. It was so entertaining. And he, of course, wore the fuchsia tux shirt. That made me happy to no end. Their choirs were fun. Their boys group was so fun, and their select group's a capella pieces were FANTASTIC! It was all just amazing in general...

So, today was my official last day of classes as a freshman. Woot! I'm so excited. Today was supposed to be a review day, but Putka (geometry) wasn't there, and we didn't really have anything to do, so we watched music videos on Ben's iPhone. And Nick's. Which was a party. But then Ben and Spencer and Matt had to go and be asses in LST. Poor Mr. Burnham. He tries to be nice to them, and they're such jerks to him. And Ben's such a sweet kid, but he turns into a moron with those boys in that class. So he got kicked out of class. Granted, Mr. Burnham did kind of single him out, and he was kind of the scapegoat for the three of the boys together. But still. Mr. Burnham put up with them all year, and they couldn't just hold it together for 40 minutes. Why are boys such bastards?

Fruits Basket...I'm in love. Momiji is soooooo cute! And Yuki and Kyo are adorable. But my favorite is totally Hatsuharu. And tied for second are Shigure (only because he's older, and Haru's cuter... but I adore Gure.) and Hatori. Hiro's a jerk sometimes. I think next post, I'll just use it all posting pictures. YAY!

*BAM*

Hahahaha, so Adrianne sent me the lyrics to her happy birthday song. It's by the Arrogant Worms and it's very funny.
Once a year we celebrate
With stupid hats and plastic plates
The fact that you were able to make
Another trip around the sun
And the whole clan gathers round
And gifts and laughter do abound
And we let out a joyful sound
And sing that stupid song

Happy birthday
Now your one year older
Happy birthday
Your life still isn't over
Happy birthday
You did not accomplish much
But you didn't die this year
I guess that's good enough

Yeah.... So that prompted me to go look at the youtube video for it, which was funny. But then I clicked on the "Ontario Sucks" song once the song was over, and that was really funny. Basically it was a Canadian band bashing all the provinces except Alberta. And then they said that Calgary sucks! Hahahah, BAM! What now, Flames?!?!? Ba ha ha ha.

So, for the last 3 days I've had lifeguarding stuff, which has been interesting. I'm starting work Sunday. I'm a little scared, not going to lie...
Hahah, yearbook signing party today. Wow, we had fun. Darin is so funny. I adore that kid. Even if he does write crude, vulgar things in my yearbook. Ben signed mine too, which made me laugh. He wrote, and I quote "Emily - (insert Rise Against sign here)" and then some crap about how much fun math was and how he can't wait to see me again. But the "insert Rise Against sign here" made me laugh. He pulled out his iPhone to look at a picture of it, cuz he was going to draw it, but then he was like, "Screw that, I can't draw it." So he just put the "insert here" bit. It made me laugh. Hahahah, we put sooooo many inside jokes in there. Like latex allergies, and short shorts, and G-nut, and Michael! How you doin'? Oh wow, quality...

Yeah, ok. Off to go read more Fruits Basket. It's my new obsession!

High On Life Day

I hereby proclaim today *drumroll please* NATIONAL HIGH ON LIFE DAY! Or at least, a high on life day. Because I so totally am.
Wanna hear why? Course ya do! Here goes! So first, we sat out in the hall by Adrianne's locker, and we talked about prank phone calls. So Adrianne tells us about this time when she and Tasia called this random kid and pretended to be at the hospital. Tasia was giving birth, and Adrianne was the frantic mother. So the call went a little like this:
Adrianne: Where are you? You need to be here! How dare you abandon my daughter?!?!?!
*Tasia screaming in the background*
Tasia: Steve! Steve, the baby's coming!
More screaming, and more of the same basic thing.
That poor kid. He never knew what hit him. We were laughing so hard. Pratima was crying she was laughing so hard, I was in fits, and everyone else was positively shrieking with laughter. Quality.
After that, Pratima mentioned that her parents had been at a luncheon with Brendan's (and Emily likes Brendan). So she tells us this, and then was like, "I could have said so many awkward things. Like 'did you talk about...pants?'" Oh, wow. Yeah, long story behind that, involving Brendan and baseball. Don't ask, please.
So that was all fun and dandy. So then I came to the library for my double off, and I sent Michael this huge e-mail, because I was really bored, and also high on life. So yeah, that was fun. It was the most random thing!
Oh, check what Juls sent me! This is the funniest thing I have seen in forever! It really added to my day.

Yep. And now we're going to Dairy Queen after school for Track. Yay! Oh, wow, it's going to be a long day.

Bwa ha ha

I'm totally running out of things to call these posts. If only something worthy of a title would appear in my rather dull life. Alas.
So anyway. That whole meet that I was supposed to have on Friday? Yeah, that never happened. We drove all the way the heck out there, and then sat in the freezing cold for a while, and then they sent us home. It was quality. But that's ok, because we had a quality time on the bus. And then we went up Saturday, and talked music, and played catch with the shotput. That was fun. Every time she picked it up, Ellie was shocked at how heavy it was. That made me laugh. Mhhhhhm. But now track is over! Hallelujah! I can actually train for the BB now!
Speaking of, we had a training run today. And it was about 45 degrees, and really windy. But we ran anyway, dammit! Cuz we're just that dedicated. Hells yes. Julia and I had fun talking about Paige and Markus (her new boyfriend, whom we're not sure we approve of just yet), and also awkward situations. Quality, no?
Ok, I don't know if I've mentioned Beau's band yet, but even if I have, I'm going to again. Essentially, he is INCREDIBLE! Seriously, you would not believe it. His band is called "For Love of Ivy", but you buy his music on iTunes under Beau Osland. I really want to add the music player from his myspace page onto my blog, but I'm technologically challanged. I know it's in HTML, and I also know you can add an HTML object, but somehow it just doesn't work. But you should all go look for his music. My favorite songs is "Heart's Desire", but I also really like "School Girl" and "New Vitality". Oh, and they're going to be in a movie!!!!! It's called "Text", and the band makes an appearance, and they're also on the soundtrack. I'm so in awe of them, you have no idea!
Ok, well, I'm off ot kill time on the Twilight lexicon...

Hello, World!

Hey all! Long time no...um, encounter? Whatever. Point being, I haven't talked, or typed, for a while.
Essentially, right now, I am sitting in Western Civ, in a tomb of silence. It's kinda nice, actually. Today is "Day of Silence" for GSA, so I, along with a number of my friends, aren't talking all day. It's really cool, actually. Although, it's kinda killing me not being able to talk. Yikes. I would die if I couldn't talk. It's been 3 and a half hours since I took the pledge, and I've been so tempted to talk. But I'm not going to until I get on the bus to go to track.
Basically, I have a two-day track meet this weekend. We're leaving school at 1:45-ish, and we've got a meet til like, 7. Unfortunately, I'm ditching in the middle to go to YVC rehearsal at 6. So I'm going from short-shorts and a singlet to my sparkle top and palazzo pants. To top it all off, it's about 43 degrees right now. We're all going to freeze at this stupid meet! Bloody heck! So tonight, I run the 800 and possibly do shot, and then tomorrow, I run the 4x2 (200, for those of you non-tracky types), and the 400. Wow. It'll be fun.
Tonight I have a two hour rehearsal for our concert tomorrow, and I'm wondering how I'm going to make it. Cuz I'll have come from freezing at a track meet, and I'm not totally sure how the food situation is going to work. Cuz I'm not usually hungry after meets, but I don't know if I can last 2 hours. Then tomorrow, after my meet, I have a short break, and then off to the Newman Center at DU to go sing in the concert. And of course, as is expected for any concert, half the people don't know what's going on, and furthermore, Jena's going to freak out on us. It'll be fun, I guarantee it.
So, Nick is convinced that Michael is my boyfriend. Every time I go online, he asks how the bf is, and if I'm talking to him. Of course, I never actually said that we were going out, Nick just assumed that. And, well, I can't say I told Nick he was wrong. I talked to Michael last night. He was packing for some huge camping trip he's going on tonight at the sand dunes. I love the sand dunes! That's where Billy is now, on the 7th grade Colorado trip. I'm so jealous. Of them both, really. I LOVE camping! I want to go camping again soon. I think as soon as I can drive, assuming the parentals are down with it, I'm going to get a bunch of people together and go camping. It'd be awesome! That's my evil plan.
Wow, I am really hungry. Wonder if our managers brought any food? Well, I'll find out, because I'm going to Ms. Baker's office anyway to pick up my letter for swimming. I'm so happy! I get a letter! And then I get more pins for track, even though I am for sure the worst runner on the team. It makes me sad. I used to be ok at track. I think being sick killed a lot of my season, but still. I should be able to run faster than I have been.
Ok, I think I've blown off class for long enough. I should probably go do something, despite the fact that I have nothing to do... Oh well. Wow, I almost used too many dots in my ellipsis! Patrick would have killed me! He's so funny, he yells at me for using to many dots, and when I do, which is always inadvertent, he calls me "Emiiiiiiiiiiily." His point is that just cuz I like dots doesn't mean I can use them whenever I want. Sort of like, he can't just throw in a million "i"s. However, I like being called emiiiiiiiily, so whatever. It's the only time he ever uses my name. Silly boy.

Ok, well, I'm going to go do something "productive" with my life...
