Zzzzzz... *snore*

*Jolts awake* I'm awake, I promise! Really truly I am! Isn't summer supposed to be for sleeping in and chilling out? Yeah, that's what I thought. Now tell that to the rest of the people involved in my life. So, swim practice. Yeah, it's a party. Every morning at 6. I was so NOT awake this morning. It was crazy. Probably because I had to work until 9 last night, and it took forever to get to bed after that, so I got pretty much no sleep last night. Eeeeew, and I have to work the 8-hour shift today. Not that work is that bad, but 8 hours is a long time to sit there and stare at the water. So yeah, thus is my life this summer. It's going to be a party. All my friends are threatening to come to the pool to pretend to drown. Grrrrr.
So guess who I saw again on Friday. That's right. Patrick! A bunch of us from school all went to see the new Indiana Jones movie on Friday after the last final, and I  coerced Packy into coming with us. So he did. I adore that child!
So, speaking of the movie...as an Indiana Jones, it wasn't great. I mean, it was an entertaining movie, but it just wasn't Indy. For the sake of you who may not have seen the movie, I won't spoil it. But honestly, the ending in this one made Temple of Doom look believable. Ridiculous or what? And, honestly, Harrison Ford looked old. But they played that well. Still, he was too old for the amount of time they claimed passed between movies. And I'm not a big fan of Shia LeBoeuf. He's not really attractive. At all. But he did make a good greaser, I'll give him that.

Ok, so the other day, we bought a fire pit. You know, the ones that are just big bowl-shaped things on legs that you light a fire in? Yeah, so we lit a fire in it Saturday night. I don't know what it was, but sitting there watching the fire made me feel so alone. Mom and dad were right there, and they were talking, and we had music and stuff, but I was just so lonely. And I really missed Michael. I don't even know why. But I did. It was awful. I was so close to calling him and leaving him some sort of angsty message, but I didn't. It was the weirdest thing, being that lonely, especially with everyone there. But it also really made me want to go camping. I love camping!

Ok, well, I'm gonna go ... do something. I just don't know what. Probably get ready for work.

Oh, P.S. Julia is in freaking New York, and she went to see RENT! I am so beyond jealous that it's not even funny. Grrrrrrrx.

SHE SAW RENT???? wowza!!! I loved the movie. But I cried. Through over half. Sad? I know. but i get the fire pit thing. I feel that way all the time when I am hiking. I can be with all my friends and being chased down by bees, but the minute I hit the water to hide, i feel alone. its a really crappy feeling.
