Simply Because I Haven't Written in Ages

Hi guys!
Checking in with the morning report. The leopards are in a bit of a spot, and the gorillas are simply going ape over it. The graffes are acting like they're above it all.... Ok, done with my Lion King randomness.

Woah, the sky is the coolest color right now! I've never seen anything quite this cool; it's all stormy out, so it's really overcast and gray and whatnot, except the sun is almost down, so everything has this orangy and purpley glow to it, so instead of gray and black clouds, they're pinky-orange and purpl-gray. It's pretty much the coolest thing ever, and I wish you could see it. Sadly, it's fading fast, and there's no way I could capture it in a picture even if it was still clear. Oh well. Guess it's just one of those things you'll have to trust me on, seeing as my discription doesn't sound all that appealing. It's hard to tell you about; guess you just have to see it. "Maybe I'll tell you all about it when I'm in the mood to lose my way with words..." (Great John Mayer song, by the way!)

Hmmm, speaking of, I haven't told you all about the John Mayer concert yet, have I? Well, Julia and I went to the John Mayer concert at Red Rocks the other day, which was pretty much really amazing. The opener was Brett Dennen, and he is really great. He is the funniest-looking guy I have ever seen in my life, but he sings really well, and his songs are good. Then they not really opener, but not the main even band was Ben Folds, and they were so cool. They are living proof that nerds will rule the world, because they were the nerdiest band I have ever heard/seen. They rock my world. Just so you know. Then John Mayer came on, and he was indescribably good, and his voice makes me swoon (haha, not really, but there's not a good way to describe it) and he's a cutie, and he has cute hair. His songs are great. Enough said. Ha ha, so anyway, he came on for the encore, and he's sitting on a stool at the mic doing accoustic, and he says " I try to do my best to be honest in my music. I'm honest in my guitar playing, I'm honest in my lyrics, and honestly, right now, I'm a little drunk." It was about the funniest thing I had ever heard. And you could tell he was a little out there. It was funny. But he still sang and played amazingly well, so it's all good. Man, I wish I could play guitar like John Mayer! He really is something!

Ok, enough about John Mayer. Except here's a hot picture of him, because I can't resist. well, maybe not hot, but hey. Here's another...

Ok, on the topic of hot musicians, however, have any of you seen either George or Johnny Harrison? Oh, wow. Amazing. And George is so freaking amazing. Here, look upon him. And, for all your sakes, I'll spare you my rant on the wonders of his music. Just trust me, it's amazing!
